AI texting
Follow-ups on estimates and review requests after the job, sent inside set hours with firm limits. Running at Apex today.
How it works
- An estimate goes out, or a job wraps up.
- The system drafts a follow-up text or a review request.
- It checks the rules: send window, limits and opt-outs.
- It sends inside the window. If a customer texts STOP, they are opted out for good.
The rules
- Follow-ups and review requests send 10am–6pm Central only
- One review request per customer
- One follow-up per estimate
- STOP opt-outs are permanent
- A single switch stops every outgoing text
What you control
What it sends on its own
Follow-ups and review requests go out automatically, by the rules above, with no per-message approval. In a conversation, the AI sends only three messages on its own: the estimate link after a call, your hours and location, and a "got your message" reply. Everything else the AI writes waits for your OK.
Kill switch
One switch stops every outgoing text.
Limits
One review request per customer and one follow-up per estimate.
Opt-outs
When a customer texts STOP, it is permanent.
